The Bartholomew County Courthouse is a striking example of Second Empire style, with a clock tower, mansard roof, and elaborate detailing. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it retains original interiors of marble, terrazzo, and wood, complemented by a graceful spiral staircase.
