Located at Cummins headquarters in Columbus, this impressive sculpture celebrates the power and precision of one of the company’s most iconic engines — the KTA50. Created at the renowned Tallix Foundry, each component of the engine was individually cast, then carefully assembled with bolts and welds. Stainless steel release valves and a dark, even patina give the piece a dramatic, realistic finish.
First introduced in 1975, the KTA50 remains one of Cummins’ most powerful engines, capable of producing up to 1,200 horsepower. Its wide use in mining trucks, locomotives, workboats, and other heavy-duty applications makes this sculpture more than a work of art.
