Central Middle School was constructed on the site of the old school’s football field and incorporates salvaged elements like limestone carvings and lamp posts. Specialized classrooms, a gray-box theater, two gyms, and music spaces define the program, while a large commons and cafeteria open to the outdoors through expansive glass.
