The Columbus Area Visitors Center incorporates the 1864 Italianate John Vawter Storey home. Brick and limestone materials, tall rectangular windows, and bracketed eaves preserve the original character while accommodating new functions. The expansion also created a home for Dale Chihuly’s Yellow Neon Chandelier and Persians, symbolizing Columbus’s artistic and architectural heritage.
