Cummins Technical Center consists of a six-story window-wall office building for engineering staff and a two-story research and testing facility. Constructed of steel, glass, and concrete, the center uses precast concrete panels for the testing facility and poured-in-place concrete for the office tower, with sun-shading precast elements on each floor. Dan Kiley landscaped the site with trees, lawns, pools, and rows of London plane trees along Central Avenue. Today, the Technical Center employs over 1,200 people and houses around 90 test cells.
