This community building was originally conceived as a Swiss chalet–style warming house with changing rooms for an outdoor rink. The exterior features rough-hewn granite boulder battered walls and large areas of glass, while the interior showcases a triple-peaked roof with wood beams and a central granite fireplace. In 1975, Koster and Associates enclosed the rink with matching materials, creating today’s regulation hockey rink, practice rink, and year-round skating facility.
