Annual Groundhog Day Celebration in Hope

Please join us for the annual Groundhog Day celebration on the northeast corner of the Hope Town Square (by the bandstand) on Monday, February 2, 2026. There will be music, mingling, chatting, singing, maybe dancing, etc starting at 8 am or a little before. Superstar groundhog Hope from Utopia Wildlife Rehabilitators will make her big reveal starting at 8:30 am. Willow LeaVes of Hope is once again providing the after-party with warm drinks, food, and an opportunity to meet Hope.


This quirky, oh-so-popular event is part history, part agriculture, part theater, and a huge opportunity for photo ops with all the costumes and our superstar Hope.
