Located along Haw Creek, Lucabe Coffee Co. occupies a striking gray-glazed brick building designed by Harry Weese in 1961 as an Irwin Union Bank branch. A seamless addition by Thomas Beeby followed in 1996, and after a 2021 renovation, the award-winning space became Lucabe’s second Columbus location. Today, the coffeehouse pairs expertly crafted coffee and espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and light breakfast and lunch fare with a modern interior, comfortable seating, and a community-focused atmosphere that makes it a favorite for both casual meetings and everyday coffee runs.
